Staying Resilient and Making Smart Choices through Difficult Times

The BCEEA is offering a half day workshop...

Have you received severance notice? Are you now facing a period of uncertainty as you work through your options? Change, whether desired or undesired, affects our equilibrium. Suddenly we have to leave what is familiar and move into an unknown future. This transition can stir up strong emotions that dominate our thinking at work and at home. It may affect how we present ourselves and deal with others in the workplace. We may not control where we work, but we can control how we conduct ourselves during this difficult time.

The British Columbia Excluded Employees’ Assocation is offering a half day workshop where you can:

  • Learn more about how we all react to sudden change.
  • Discover practical steps and actions you can take to maintain your equilibrium and make good choices.
  • Identify strategies for taking charge of how you conduct yourself and interact with others in the workplace during this time of transition.

Join Dr. Mackenzie Brooks on Friday, September 18th  at 9:00 am for this valuable half day workshop in the BCEEA boardroom at 303 – 852 Fort Street in Victoria (near the intersection of Quadra and Fort).

The workshop is provided as a service for BCEEA members. There are only 25 seats available on a first-come first-serve basis. Please register by email at:  reception@bceea.bc.ca

A waiting list will be developed for members unable to secure a place at this workshop. Please ensure that the BCEEA has your current phone number. You will be contacted if a space becomes available.

Non-members may put their name on a waiting list. In the event that the workshop is not filled by members, seats will be made available to non-members for $40.00.
