The 2010 Scholarship Award winner is Stacey Wilson of New Westminster, BC

Her proud father is Frank Wilson, Building Technology Advisor, with Ministry of Citizens’ Services in Vancouver.

Stacey graduated from New Westminster Secondary School with exceptional grades and will be attending Simon Fraser University this September.  She plans to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, and then continue her education at the Justice Institute of British Columbia in pursuit of her career goal of becoming a Family Justice Counselor.  Stacey has had invaluable work experience and acquired a multitude of skills through her volunteer work; including a youth mission trip to Yellowknife with her church and as an audio visual technician and event photographer for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.  She has always been very active in sports and currently plays competitive women’s hockey and recreational softball.

The BCEEA is pleased to announce Stacey as this year’s successful scholarship recipient and wishes her well as she pursues her dreams.
