Elizabeth (Liz) Gilliland commences role of Executive Director

The BCEEA is pleased to announce that Elizabeth (Liz) Gilliland commenced duties as Executive Director on July 29th, 2009.  This appointment is a result of the Expressions of Interest call in June for the development of a short/medium term strategic plan for the BCEEA and interim management support and issue-related HR Advice to members.

Liz is an experienced senior executive whose career accomplishments in the BC Government included assistant deputy minister appointments.  Since 2007, she has applied her skills and interests to consulting plus working for the School Of Public Administration at the University of Victoria.  In addition to her diverse skill set, she can identify with BCEEA having also been a member.

Liz will be working part-time and staff will continue to provide the level of service members have been accustomed to.  She looks forward to connecting with members and encourages queries from non-members as, achieving BCEEA goals for the future, is entirely dependent on membership.
