The 2010 Bursary Award winner is Michael Bucklee of Kelowna, BC
His proud mother is Jacqueline Koenders, Registry Operations Manager with Court Services Branch, Ministry of Attorney General in Kelowna.
Michael has completed his second year of a four year business degree program at Okanagan College, majoring in Marketing with a minor in Management. He has earned exceptional grades thus far while impressively managing a heavy course load. Marketing has proven to be an exciting field of study for Michael, and has provided plenty of opportunities for personal growth. He would like to work as a marketing director for a professional sports team, as this would combine his life-long passion for sports with his desire to work creatively with others and always be on the go using his imagination and communication skills. Michael is a responsible, hard working young man who believes that the main goal in life is to love what you do.
The BCEEA is pleased to announce Michael as this year’s successful bursary recipient and wishes him well as he pursues his dreams.
