Call for Nominations for BCEEA Directors

The BCEEA has a professional development opportunity for Directors in the following regions:

Lower Mainland                    3 positions
Prince George/Cariboo          1 position
Skeena                               1 position
Thompson/Okanagan           1 position
Victoria/Gulf Islands             4 positions

Successful candidates will be elected for a two year term expiring October 22, 2012.  The first board meeting will be in Victoria on November 4th and 5th, 2009.  Steps are in motion for the BCEEA to also host Microsoft Live Meetings.

Working on the Board of Directors will give you a chance to enhance the organization and in turn add to your professional skills.  Benefits of being a Director include:

  • Working with - and learning from - other excluded employees from diverse backgrounds.
     
  • Influencing and shaping the overall direction of the organization.
