MOU Agreement
Our Memorandum of Understanding with Government
The government of BC and the Association share a belief that a strong, mutually respectful relationship is beneficial to us all. Our Memorandum of Understanding provides the foundation for that relationship.
The original agreement was signed into effect on January 5, 1994, and a second Memorandum of Understanding was added on January 20, 1999. The second agreement doubled the minimum number of meetings to be held each year, and gave the Association the right to consult with Deputy Ministers about substantial reorganizations within ministries that result in redundancy, relocation or reclassification of excluded employees.
