BCEEA Accepting Scholarship and Bursary Applications

The BCEEA is currently accepting applications for its’ annual Scholarship and Bursary Award for 2009. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, March 31, 2009.

Parents, children, grandchildren and legal dependants (including common-law and same-sex partners) of BCEEA members in good standing are eligible to apply for the following awards:

A)    A $1,000.00 scholarship to a person entering their first year of postsecondary education. The selection is based on academic achievement and community service.

B)    A $1,000.00 bursary to a person entering their second or later year of post-secondary education. The selection is based on need.

Successful candidates are required to provide proof of registration at the university or college of their choice before payment is made.

Scholarships will be forwarded at the time of registration, directly to the university/college the winner chooses to attend.  Bursaries are paid directly to the successful applicants.

Applications received after the published deadline will not be considered.
